Britney Spears‘s young sons did a big of Easter egg hunting here in SoCal yesterday with their nanny and from the looks of the photos, it would seem that they had a great time. Sean Preston and Jayden James attended the Eggstravaganza event at Grape Arbor Park in Calabasas, CA on Saturday to get into the Easter spirit. Britney did not attend with them, presumably so that the kids could play without her drawing attention to their attendance.

My guess is that the boys got to spend yesterday with their mom … but got to play with other kids at the Easter egg hunt event at the park on Saturday. The boys got to play in the petting zoo and then were able to collect Easter eggs, candy, toys, etc. during the main event. So cute, right? These are fun photos … it looks like Britney‘s little chicks really did have themselves a great Easter weekend ;)

For the past two weeks, Rise of the Planet of the Apes landed the #1 spot at the box office, but now there's talk that The Help might be the top grosser for its second week in release.

The Emma Stone-starring film exceeded expectations last week, bringing in $25.5 million and coming in at second place.

According to projections, The Help is expected to bring in approximately $18 million this upcoming weekend.

Other movies that will be competing for that #1 spot include Fright Night, One Day, Conan the Barbarian, Spy Kids: All the Time in the World, AND there's always the possibility that Apes maintains its throne!

Who knows, though! Maybe The Smurfs will return to #1 in a surprise move! It COULD happen! Ha!

What a crazy life these people live. I am constantly amazed when they get to do the simplest things … like go for walks, visit the playground or go toy shopping. It looks to me like the kids are adjusting as well as they can … especially considering how much in the public eye they are. I sincerely hope that fun trips to toy stores like this will live on as good memories rather than bad ones :/

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver’s Son Christopher In Surfing Accident

Last night Emma and I made our way out to The Greek Theater to see Lykke Li in concert and we had THE best time rockin’ out under the stars. I had never seen Lykke Li live before so I was excited to see how she translates to a live performance. I have to say, she totally rocked. Her vibe is a bit midtempo and … emo … but her voice is fantastic. She is deffo an artist that must be experienced live.

Lykke Li has this funerary vibe that I really enjoy. The songs are sad, full of lament … and beautiful. To be honest, I’m not familiar with Lykke‘s music to know the songs by name just by hearing them but she performed an amazing set of songs from her 2 albums. We had a blast.

Today, I have a LOT of stuff to take care of before David and I fly back East tomorrow. It’s too boring to even list but trust me, I’ll be bizzy. We are hoping to attend an early screening of The Help tonight but our attendance will depend on whether or not I can get my shizz done. I hope your Thursday is a great (and less hectic) one ;D

4 Intimate Nights with Beyonce kicks off on August 14, and will continue on the 16th, 18th and 19th. Tickets go on sale THIS WEDNESDAY and if we were you, we would nestle ourselves near the computer at least an hour before they go on sale. You're going to have to fight for this!

But it will be so worth it to be that close to Beyonce! Ugh! Our hearts are fluttering with joy!

How Did Rock Music Change America

Where are the REAL female hip hop rappers? There are all-girl groups that comes up when searching for female Korean hip hop, such as the Wonder Girls, but they are clearly more of a pop group similar to the pretty boy groups of the USA, complete with snazzy outfits and all. The roots of real hip are not here, where stories of struggles and street life were vented and expressed, back in the 80s and 90s. Skim is a Korean rapper who incorporates traditional Korean folk music and is definitely not of the conventional mainstream (being openly queer is one of these unconventional traits), but that is what makes her all the better and extremely refreshing, in my opinion.

We are still about 4 months away from the release of The Muppets movie but the final one sheet poster for the film has already been released. Now, I’m not sure what makes a “one-sheet poster” special but I suspect it refers to a “main poster” (ie. with multiple characters) as opposed to individual “character posters”. My guess is that there will be more Muppets movie posters to come … but as far as one-sheets go, today we get to see the final one below.

These posters with all the Muppets crammed together are really fun. I’m enjoying the posters and the trailers seem clever … but, man, I hope the movie is good. I will be SO BUMMED if it turns out to be a crappy film. I have faith, tho, that it will turn out well … at least, I really really really hope so.

Thanks for playing along with the shenanigans yesterday - if you were paying attention you've probably figured out that we're announcing a FALL TOUR today! We're very happy to say that we're going to visit 22 cities in the US that we haven't been to recently and are really excited to see you guys again. And for the rest of you overseas- no need to worry, we'll get to you all soon!

And if you're a member of their fan club, Northern Downpour, keep an eye out for pre-sale starting next week Wednesday!

For all non-members, pre-sales start the end of next week.

The President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Tom Sherak, has announced his picks for Oscar's producers.

Both Brett Ratner and Don Mischer got the lucky taps, honoring Ratner with his first run and Mischer with his second.

Though no explanation is really needed for these two, President Sherak enthusiastically describes his decision:

I was so impressed with Brett when I met with him to discuss the Oscar show. He has an incredible love of film and its history and is a true student of the business of movies. He’s unbelievably creative and knows how to take risks that are both interesting and inspiring. Together with Don Mischer – who, by the way, just earned an Emmy nomination for his work on the 83rd Academy Awards – I think these two will give us a fantastic Oscar show that you won’t want to miss.

Oooh, we can't wait! For Hollywood lovers, this is like the Super Bowl so knowing there are great producers means a lot!

ScarJo And Ryan Getting Back Together?

There's a lot of talk of this happening, guys!
After being spotted eating dinner together and 'nuzzling,' the buzz around Scarlett Johansson is all about her yearning for more Ryan Reynolds.
And it hasn't even been that long since their divorce became official!
US Weekly reports sources saying:

Ke$ha canceled her upcoming concert at White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 23 so that she can prepare for her performance at the MTV World Stage show in Mexico.

She apologized to her fans, saying:

"I am so sorry that I can't party with you this time around. I was really pumped to cover your city in glitter."

What's weird is that her performance will be pre-taped and will air later in September on MTV Latin America. It seems like a shame that she couldn't find a way to please her fans AND still prepare for a pre-taped performance.

Tickets for the Get $leazy tour in Indiana will be refunded.
