The Cast Of The Hunger Games Does Vanity Fair Magazine

Last week we got to see a batch of AMAZING new character posters for the upcoming big screen adaptation of The Hunger Games and today we get more Games goodness to behold. ¡Feliz Día De Los Muertos, y’all! As some of you may recall, a couple of weeks ago David and I attended the Día De Los Muertos celebration at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery here in LA but today is the actual Day of the Dead. Each year, folks hold a traditional Día De Los Muertos celebration on Olvera Street in downtown LA (the oldest street in Los Angeles) and each year, I try to attend the celebration. Last night, David and I made our way out to Olvera St. to enjoy the parade, the prayers & blessings, the face painting and the camaraderie that comes with Day of the Dead. Last night was my third Day of the Dead fest on Olvera street and it was truly one of the best.

I am always in awe of this traditional celebration. I love that so many children are allowed to participate … it’s such a beautiful celebration. David and I always have a great time on Olvera St. and last night was no exception. It’s really something to see so many people come together for this ancient traditional celebration. I’m thinking that we may have to celebrate Día De Los Muertos next year in Mexico ;) Now that would be amazingly cool.

Tonight, Darion and I are getting together for a LONG overdue dinner hang out and then later on, I’m seeing Filter live in concert at The Viper Room. I hope your Hump Day is a good one. Happy Wednesday ;D

Installing Your Own Stereo Equipment

As creating storyboards digitally becomes more popular, we asked professional storyboard artist He his views on the pros and cons of working digitally. Max started his career creating storyboards traditionally (pen/pencil and paper) and has been a purely digital storyboard artist for the past few years.

Writing Music As Expressive Therapy

This violin is like no other you have ever seen or played before. I fell in love with it the moment I heard it being played by an excellent musician named Edward Howe, who incorporated it with a Boss Loop Station into his live set. Having fallen in love with it, I was rather surprised when I first played one that it felt uncomfortable and strange to hold. So what was the problem?

Shannen Doherty Ties The Knot In Malibu!

Brenda Walsh Shannen Doherty is officially a married woman!
She and her fiance Kurt Iswarienko tied the knot at a private estate nestled in the hills of Malibu on Saturday.
The two said "I do" to each other at sunset in front of family and friends at their swanky black-tie ceremony, which was filmed for the season [...]

No surprise. He needs to get rest!

Despite suffering from two seizures, Rick Ross still planned on taking the stage at his North Carolina and Memphis shows over the weekend.

Looks like Rick changed his mind though, (which he should have done in the first place!) and decided to cancel his performances at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina and his Friday night show in Memphis.

Rick's reps wouldn't elaborate on WHY he decided to cancel, but we have a pretty good feeling that it was due to his health.

Take time to get some rest and take care of yourself, Rick. Your health is way more important!

Dedicated To Jose Carreras

An article about one of the most popular arias in Verdi's opera "La Traviata" which I would like to dedicate to the Romanian soprano and friend of mine; Elena Georgian. "Di Provenza Il Mar, Il Suol" being a baritone's aria which was once even heard on the American sitcom "The Odd Couple" when Richard Fredericks performed it as a personal favor to both Felix and Oscar.

Arts and Entertainment:Music from EzineArticles.com

If I asked you how long do you think that the Electric Violin has been around, you would more than likely scratch you head, and hazard a guess at from the 1960's. Your reasoning, (which is wrong by the way) is probably because lots of innovations took place in this period, and you would assume that this was one of them.
